Variations in Dasylirion miquihuanensis

Pictures from 2004, plants on the road up from La Peņa - quite small and tufted.

Same road 2005.  Still not huge plants and some decent tufting.

Very tufted young plant

Lower down on the road towards Miquihuana.  I think the spike on the left is one I collected from.  The plant behind and immediately to the right looks like an intergrade to me, with a standard quadrangulatum on the right

Pics from 2007.  This is the population just northwest from Doctor Arroyo.  Big chunky plants without much tufting.

Great spot, isn't it!

Now these are on the Cd Victoria to Jaumave road, near to Las Palmillas.  VERY tufted.

And finally these are along the back side of the road from La Peņa (should that be La Joya?) going back towards Miquihuana.  The odd big one, and quite chunky, not very tufty.

Whatever - they are all nice!
